New Traktor DJ Studio 2.6

Yay! Native Instruments has released the new vesion of DJ Studio. UI Improvments galore! However, there are some pretty big bugs so far…some of which I’ve reported, some of which I haven’t yet…
- Doesn’t send MIDI sync. Ever. (reported that one)
- Crashes randomly when importing from iTunes
- “chops” long data in ID3 tags. Like album titles. And I’ve got some long ones.

A Bug in OpenSSL

Ok, this is pretty bad.
Recent versions of SSL, being overly security minded, open their random # device ( “/dev/random”, or whatever) with the open() option O_NOFOLLOW, meaning, don’t follow symlinks.
Sun just recently implemented this option in Solaris 10. Sun also, fills /dev with symlinks to stuff in /devices.
This, as you can imagine, is a problem.
